DIRECTOR/ CREATOR   Dani Jackson is a 2017 Kartemquin Diverse Voices in Docs Fellow, Chicago native and community enthusiast. She learned the production ropes as a producer at Leo Burnett advertising and Havas Worldwide. DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY   Danielle DeGrasse-Alston is co-founder of the video production company Verluxe LLC. She has directed over 50 music videos and photoshoots across the country.  She has directed creative videos for Common, School Boy Q, Twista, young superstar Chance The Rapper and Vic Mensa.

PRODUCER   Zanah Thirus co-produced “My Adoption” (2016), which won Best Student Documentary at the London International Film Festival. She also was nominated for Best Female Producer for her short film “Hourglass” (2016) in the CinePlay TV film festival. Zanah's ultimate goal is to merge arts and activism thorough her work.

ASSOCIATE PRODUCER   Born in America and raised in Zimbabwe, Vunzai Yeazel views the world through a panoramic lens. Vunzai oversees brand and business strategy as well as directs creative teams in development of digital projects.

Smithis a freelance professional videographer, independent filmmaker, and visual storyteller from Chicago, IL. Chan was formerly the Multimedia Producer at Johnson Publishing Company, where she was responsible for creating compelling visual content for the online publications of JET and EBONY magazines.
